Robotic Olympics: Our Robotics 444 class final. So much fun to watch these robots pass the finish line. With some cheering and positive reinforcement they were all able to bask in their glory. Robotics 444 has a mixture of CNRS students ranging from Math, Physics, Software Engineering, and Computer Science.
Winner will be announced later on today!

Sunny skies, calm waters, and an unforgettable afternoon on the bay!
Last Friday, CNRS faculty, staff, grad students, and student assistants had the honor of hosting Congressman Jared Huffman for a special cruise aboard the North Wind, joined by President Spagna, Marcom friends, and members of Huffman’s Eureka office.
During the hour-long trip, our team shared their groundbreaking work in marine and wildlife science and conservation; showcasing the passion and research driving real change.

Thank you to Congressman Huffman and all those who came aboard the North Wind on that beautiful Friday afternoon!

🎓 Meet recent grad Tanner Hooven, now at the University of Oregon’s Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program! For his senior seminar, Tanner explored Acoustic Levitation, yep, that means using sound to make things float! 🧊🔊
He designed and built an array of ultrasonic transducers that could levitate pieces of dry ice by balancing their weight with a sound-generated pressure gradient. So cool (literally)! ❄️
