🌷 Spring Reminder: Yard Maintenance & City Ordinances 🌱
As we head into spring, the City of Arapahoe would like to remind residents of important yard maintenance requirements outlined in City Code:
📏 Weeds & Grass Height: City ordinance requires that weeds, grasses, and vegetation must be kept under 12 inches in height, including the alley.
🧹 Property Cleanliness: It is unlawful to allow garbage, junk, debris, or waste to accumulate on your property.
🚫 Nuisances: Conditions such as noxious weeds, litter, stagnant water, and unlicensed vehicles are considered public nuisances and must be addressed.
📬 Notice & Enforcement: If a property is found in violation, notice will be provided. If not corrected, the City may take action to abate the issue, and costs may be assessed to the property owner.

Keeping your yard maintained helps protect property values, reduce pests, and keep our community looking its best.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Arapahoe clean and safe!
