WRITC‑DOT is updating our Long Range Transportation Plan, and your perspective matters. A Public Hearing has been scheduled to gather community feedback on transportation needs, priorities, and long‑term planning.

Good morning Wind River!

WRITC-DOT would like to thank all of the contractors and all who had a hand in completing the 1.98-mile Yellowcalf road and pedestrian pathway construction project. We thank the general public and homeowners on this route for your time and patience as we worked through this project.

The road is officially open as of yesterday!!!

Good morning Wind River! Just a friendly reminder to all candidates running for public office to please refrain from posting your signs, posters and ads inside of the public Right-of-Way. This is a safety precaution for traveling vehicles and all pedestrians that utilize our roadways. If they are within the right-of-way they will be removed by our crews. During the Fremont County Commissioners' meeting on October 13th, the Wind River Inter-Tribal Council Transportation Department asked to take over four County roads on the Wind River Reservation.
