That’s a wrap on the National Beta Convention! 🎉💙

We had the best time competing, taking on scavenger hunts, trading pins, and even getting to experience the Grand Ole Opry for Beta Night, such an unforgettable trip!

We are SO proud of how well our students represented BMES. Their hard work, leadership, and character truly shined all week long.

On that note… a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Novalee Green for placing 10th in the nation in Onsite Drawing! 🏆👏 What an incredible accomplishment!

We’re already looking forward to next year! 💫

🚨BMES PARENTS-SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS🚨

Attached are the school supply lists for Pre-K, 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students.

Supplies can be purchased individually by you, OR for $45 you can make a school supply donation at Meet the Teacher Night, and supplies will be purchased for your student.

📌Please note: Backpacks, lunchboxes, and CLEAR water bottles are NOT included and will need to be purchased by families.

Brindlee Mountain Elementary School was recognized at last night’s board meeting for being a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Lighthouse School! Blue Ribbon School of Excellence is a national non-profit organization that assists K-12 schools across the United States with comprehensive school reform, professional development, and measurable student achievement. The Lighthouse School status is the highest prestigious tier awarded to schools meeting 80% of performance indicators, all critical benchmarks (such as strong new-teacher mentoring programs), and displaying exceptional educational vitality. Congratulations again to BMES!

NO COST SUMMER MEALS
Marshall County School System is committed to making sure no child goes hungry when school is out! Through the summer feeding program, meals will be offered at NO COST to any children 18 and under during the month of June. Summer menus can be found at https://www.marshallk12.org/departments/child-nutrition/menus. Meals must be eaten onsite. If you have any questions, please email Casey Partain at [email protected]. We had an outstanding retirement/ farewell lunch this afternoon! We celebrated Mrs. Hollaway, Mr. Lemons, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Williams, Nurse Mandy, and Ms. Hudson.

Thank you to all of the friends, family members, central office staff and people who came from other campuses to celebrate such special people!

These people are more than just coworkers. They are family! Thank you all for your years of dedication, service, and impact on our students, staff, and community. We wish each of you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement! They will be greatly missed but will always be considered a lion!
