Freedom Forum Santa Cruz

Freedom Forum Santa Cruz Santa Cruz Freedom Forum is a non-partisan group of volunteers dedicated to providing an open forum See the Calendar for upcoming events.

Santa Cruz Freedom Forum is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing an open forum for the discussion of current issues that may not be receiving adequate coverage in the mainstream media. Freedom Forum is non-partisan, and not endorsed by nor does it endorse any political party. The topics of honest and effective government, sound monetary policies, an accountable foreign policy, are often at

the table, as well as other aspects of politics that affect us all, whether it be on a local, national, or global level. A most important part of our events is to provide a forum for people from all backgrounds to voice their concerns and opinions about different issues and network with others to take action. We believe that people can come together to unite on common issues of great importance rather than be divided by political party or minor issues. Here is an example of unity accross party lines on some big issues: "We Agree"

Join us for a free presentation on the third Wednesday of the month. Topics discussed in the past (These are only a few!)

Smart Meters
Water Fluoridation
Genetically Modified Food
Corporate and Political Corruption
Local Politics, including red tags and fines
Agenda 21
Codex Alimentarius
SB510 ("Food Safety" Bill threatening small farms)
And much, much more!

Fwd:

Rally/Lunch tomorrow (Sunday) in Carmel to Support Restaurant Owner

Carmel Event is confirmed for tomorrow!

BRUNCH AT THE TUCK BOX, SUNDAY, MAY 17TH, NOON
DOLORES BETWEEN 7TH AND OCEAN AVENUE, CARMEL, CA 93921

Please join us in a stand together for freedom, voluntary commerce, and the bravery of Jeff LeTowt, Christie D'Amato and his staff at the Tuck Box.

In an open defiance of illegitimate, unconstitutional and amoral new rules, Jeff is seating willing customers for brunch in his restaurant in Carmel. He is being threatened with fines, and prison time for exercising that freedom, and we must not allow this to happen.

It is recommended you bring a brown bag lunch, as Jeff's restaurant is small, seating around 25 people, and we are anticipating more people will be joining us. Many of us will probably be out on the sidewalk eating. If at all possible, carpool if traveling from Santa Cruz and farther. We will see what we can do about getting people in touch with others to accommodate.

For those of us hoping to purchase meals at the restaurant, they will only be accepting cash.

Please remember, this is peaceful civil disobedience.
Thanks everybody, see you tomorrow!

URGENT: Space needed for Brandy Vaughan's workshop, Wednesday March 18th 3-6pm!

Preferably South of 17th Ave, as her talk starts at 7:30 in Aptos and she will need time to eat in between.

Chairs for 30-40 people (or more), space for setting up a powerpoint presentation (and ability to make the room dark enough for powerpoint too).

We have already tried: Live Oak Resource, MidCounty Senior center, Aptos Library, Aptos/La Selva Fire, Aptos Grange, and the Community Foundation. Messages out to Inner Light and Twin Lakes churches and the Center for Spiritual Living.
