We hope your youth will join us for fun at one of our Club locations this upcoming school year! 😄🏫

Our programs will once again offer a wide range of fun and exciting opportunities. 🎨⚽🔬 From sports and recreation 🏀, fine arts 🎭, small group discussions 💬, leadership and community service 🤝, to STEM 🚀—and much, much more—there’s something for everyone to enjoy and explore this year! 🌟

We’re proud to provide FREE, nutritious meals through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) so kids stay fueled all summer long 💪✨

Thanks to support from the USDA and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, this program helps ensure no child goes without the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive 🌱

📅 When: Monday–Friday, June 8 – August 20
📍 Where: Appleton, Menasha & Neenah Club locations
🚫 No meals on: June 26, July 3, July 17, August 7
✅ Open to ALL youth — no Club membership required.

🍽️ Meal Times:
Appleton (160 S. Badger Ave)
☀️ Breakfast: 8:30–9:20 AM
🍴 Lunch: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM

Menasha (600 Racine St)
☀️ Breakfast: 8:00–9:00 AM
🍴 Lunch: 11:30 AM–12:45 PM

🚧 Due to ongoing construction on S. Badger Ave, we wanted to share some new detour changes for those visiting the Boys & Girls Club of Appleton.🚧

Here’s what you'll need to know:

🔹Accessing the Club: Visitors can navigate to the Club’s front short-term parking lot for youth drop-off and pick-up in two ways:
1. Turning south off College Ave onto Locust St., then right into Kimball Alley next to the Club, then turn left by JJ’s Laundromat to navigate to S. Pierce Ave, before pulling into the Club lot.
2. Turning off College Avenue by going around the “No Thru Traffic” barricade to S. Badger Ave. and taking a left on S. Pierce Ave, before pulling into the Club lot.

🔹Safety Reminder: To keep everyone safe, visitors should NOT enter the Club pick-up and drop-off area from Lawrence Street. Instead, use one of the routes listed above. We’ve seen cars entering from Lawrence Street the wrong way, which creates a safety risk. We’ve added measures to prevent this, but we need your help to keep all youth and families safe when arriving and leaving the Club.

🔹Exiting the Area: All visitors must exit drop-off & pick-up heading east on Lawrence St. or Locust & W 8th St. due to the road closure on Badger.

Every once in a while, a moment comes along that truly stands out ✨

Earlier this week, Club youth and their families filled the Boys & Girls Club of Neenah gym, buzzing with excitement as they waited for a special surprise 🤩🏈 When Green Bay Packers Jordan Love and Micah Parsons walked through the doors, the room erupted—reaching Lambeau Field-worthy 124 decibels of excitement!🔊💚💛

Kids and families had the chance to toss footballs, ask questions, and connect one-on-one with the players 🏈🙌 The smiles, laughter, and pure joy in that space made the night truly unforgettable 😊💫

A heartfelt thank you to longtime Club supporters and friends at Bergstrom Automotive for helping create such a meaningful experience for the youth and families we serve.💙👏

Celebrating an inspiring night at the Boys & Girls Club of Appleton Awards Banquet 🎉

This special evening honored young people for their leadership, growth, kindness, creativity, and perseverance. From Youth and Teen of the Month to awards like Art Enthusiast, Assistant Chef, Most Growth, Kindness Court, Club Service, Jolly Jokester, and everything in between, each recognition highlights the passion, resilience, and incredible potential we see every day within our Clubs.

Gratitude goes out to families, staff, volunteers, and community supporters who help create opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and thrive. The future is bright because of the incredible young people being celebrated 💙

Boys & Girls Club members recently took time to learn the true meaning of Memorial Day—honoring and remembering the brave individuals who have served our country.✨

Through sharing, reading an online story 📖, and reflecting, the youth deepened their understanding of this important day. To bring that learning to life, they created meaningful artwork in tribute, with each star ⭐ representing someone they know or remember who has served.

Today and every day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who have served and protected our freedom. We are deeply grateful for their service and honor their legacy ❤️🤍💙

🌞 Summer fun starts here—register your youth today for our Summer Program!

Don’t miss your chance to lock in a summer full of discovery, friendship, and fun! Our programs offer kids the perfect opportunity to explore new interests, build confidence, and keep learning in a vibrant, engaging environment.

Who: Youth ages 6–18 👧🧑
When: June 8–August 20, between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ⏰
Where: Boys & Girls Club of Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah 📍

Other Details: Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided at the above Club locations at no additional cost through the Summer Food Service Program.

After registering your youth for the Summer Program, you can use the Caregiver Portal to sign them up for optional Club field trips (ages 7-12), such as the zoo, planetarium, bowling, and more. You can also enroll K–3rd graders in the Page Turners program, which offers twice-weekly small-group or 1:1 tutoring sessions to build reading skills and provide take-home books.

We will also offer programming following summer school at the following Appleton school locations from June 9–July 2 (closed June 19): Badger Elementary, Edison Elementary, Foster Elementary, Highlands Elementary, Kaleidoscope Academy, and James Madison Middle School 🏫🎒

🎓✨ Congratulations to this year’s STAR Graduates! ✨🎓

We were thrilled to celebrate 75 middle and high school STAR Scholars graduating this spring! 🌟

This year’s celebration was extra special as we welcomed the first Black Miss Wisconsin, Willow, to be part of the event. 👑💙 Willow spent time taking photos, connecting with youth and their families, and sharing inspiring words of wisdom with our graduates. 📸💬

These Scholars have put in the hard work—setting goals, achieving them, and now setting their sights on their dreams as they take their next steps. 🚀 As STAR team members reflected on this class, they shared powerful memories, encouragement for the future, and gratitude for the opportunity to serve these incredible young people. We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next! 🙌

We also celebrated strong community partnerships, recognizing People of Progression for five years of supporting STAR Scholars and Paul with the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust for bringing fun and nature to youth. 🌳🤝 Collaborations like these open doors and help young people explore the world around them in meaningful ways.
