Fox Valley Area-Fraternal Order of Police

Fox Valley Area-Fraternal Order of Police The FOP Fox Valley Area represents law enforcement in the Fox Valley and surrounding counties.

The Fox Valley Area Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police was established in 2016 and is further supported by the Wisconsin FOP (www.wifop.org) as well as the Grand Lodge of the FOP (www.fop.net). The FVA FOP consists of law enforcement officers from many of the law enforcement agencies throughout the Fox Valley Area, and while full membership is limited to law enforcement officers, the FOP is su

pported by community organizations, citizens, family and friends of the officers who dedicate themselves to the communities which they work and live. The FVA FOP strives to promote positive relationships between the law enforcement officers serving the communities of the Fox Valley Area and the citizens who live and work in the communities that these officers protect. The FVA FOP also believes in charitable giving and will work hard to support and benefit local citizens and organizations through fundraising efforts and charity events. In addition to support of the communities that member officers serve, the FVA FOP also strives to support these officers in their personal and professional lives through fraternal and social events, member meetings, community events, training and education.

This week, we honor the men and women behind the walls who serve with perseverance, professionalism, and heart. In one of the toughest environments in the criminal justice system, they continue to show up day in and day out. We see you, we respect you, and we thank you for everything you do.

When one of our own needed help, our members showed up. 💙

Today, members of Fraternal Order of Police – Fox Valley Lodge, along with friends, co-workers, and neighbors came together to support Chief Knapp after the recent flooding caused significant damage to her home.

This is what the FOP is all about… standing beside each other not only on the job, but in life. Service, brotherhood, sisterhood, and community do not end when the shift does.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and muscle to help during a difficult time. Your willingness to step up is a true reflection of who we are.

The Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police is aware of a disturbing video circulating online that falsely claims our organization, misnamed as the “Fraternal Order of Cops,” supports a Portage, WI police officer accused of child abuse. This video is a malicious satire and completely false. Officer Cameron Coronado is not a member of the WI FOP, and we would never condone or support any form of abuse, especially against a child.

The WI FOP is dedicated to serving our communities with integrity and professionalism. We strongly condemn the spread of this misinformation, which aims to damage public trust in law enforcement. Please verify information through credible sources before sharing. We are addressing this issue and appreciate your support in setting the record straight.

🙏 Our thoughts and well wishes are with the Calumet County Deputy who was injured in this senseless crash. We stand with our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and pray for a full and speedy recovery. 💙

On Wednesday morning at approximately 4:30 AM, a crash occurred on STH 57 near CTH K in the Town of Brillion involving one of our deputies. During a traffic stop, his patrol vehicle was rear-ended by another car that subsequently rolled onto its roof. The driver of the striking vehicle showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated Causing Injury.

Fortunately, our deputy sustained only minor injuries and will be back on duty after a short recovery period.

This incident underscores two critical safety reminders for all road users:

➡️Don’t Drive Impaired: Always plan for a sober ride home. Impaired driving endangers everyone on the road.

➡️Move Over for Emergency Vehicles: When you see flashing lights on the roadside, move over / slow down. This is not only respectful but ensures the safety of our officers, other emergency vehicles and other drivers on the road.
