Did You Know? Most Adults with A/I/DD Still Live at Home
According to responses collected through the My Housing Voice survey, 75% of adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities currently live with family.
For many individuals, family support provides stability, connection, and care. At the same time, this data highlights an important question:
What happens when aging parents and caregivers are no longer able to provide housing and support?
Understanding where people live today helps us better understand the housing needs of tomorrow.
As we continue analyzing survey responses and community input from across Northeast Wisconsin, we'll be sharing more insights that help tell the story behind the region's housing challenges and opportunities.
