The Apple Valley Fire Protection District recently recognized several employees during our Mid-Year Badge Pinning and Awards Ceremony.
The evening included the introduction of new Reserve Firefighters Kaidan Eisenbrey and Ty Johnson, the promotion and badge pinning of Engineer/Paramedic Matthew Phillips, badge pinning recognitions for Firefighters Damian Contreras and Nathan Downing, and recognition of Community Risk Reduction Division personnel Sergio Cuevas, recently promoted to Fire Inspector I, and Inspector Dawson Longnecker.
The District also recognized the accomplishments of the Fire Explorer Program and celebrated the retirement of Fire Protection Specialist Gerry Longnecker after more than 15 years of dedicated service to the District and the Apple Valley community.
