📢 TEMPORARY CHANGE TO OUR CARRABELLE OFFICE SCHEDULE

To better accommodate the scheduling needs of our office, the Franklin County Property Appraiser's Office will be temporarily changing our regular Carrabelle office day from Thursday to Wednesday for the next 8 weeks.

Beginning next week and continuing through the remainder of June and all of July, our staff will be available at the Carrabelle Courthouse Annex every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM).

Please note that this is a temporary change, and we anticipate returning to our normal Thursday schedule in August.

The main Property Appraiser's Office in Apalachicola will remain open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and will continue to serve the public during normal business hours.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we make this temporary adjustment and remain committed to providing excellent service to all Franklin County residents.

Come celebrate 250 years of American independence, freedom, and patriotism with us on July 3rd in beautiful Apalachicola!

Decorate your golf cart, wagon, bicycle, skateboard, stroller, or simply put on your walking shoes and join the fun. No registration is required, just show up and be part of the celebration!

I’m also excited to announce that Retiring Chief Bobby Varnes has graciously agreed to serve as our Grand Marshal. Chief Varnes has dedicated many years of service to our community, and it is only fitting that we recognize his commitment and leadership as we celebrate this historic milestone together.
