Over the weekend we lost a truly incredible man and a firefighter who meant so much to our department and our community.

Eric Phillips was the kind of person who left an impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was kind, gentle, selfless, and had an incredible sense of humor. No matter what kind of day you were having, Eric had a way of putting a smile on your face and making things just a little bit better.

Eric cared deeply about his community and the people he served alongside. He was always willing to give you everything he had, never asking for anything in return. His dedication to his coworkers, his department, and the people he served was evident in everything he did.

Eric was very much a part of our fire service family. His friendship, kindness, laughter, and presence will never be forgotten. Losing someone like Eric is a reminder of just how strong the bonds within the fire service truly are.

Our hearts are with Eric’s family, his brothers and sisters in the fire service, his coworkers, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest easy, Eric. Thank you for your service, your friendship, your laughter, and for always being someone who could make people smile. You will be deeply missed, but your memory and the impact you made will live on.

Rest in peace, brother. Until we meet again.

On Sept 6, 2026, in Manchester, local first responders, families, and community members gathered for the New Hampshire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb held at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

Participants took on 2,200 steps—representing the 110 stories of the World Trade Center towers—to honor and remember the 343 FDNY firefighters and all the brave first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Each participant wore a lanyard with a photo of one of the 343 firefighters; they read the name and rang the bell in remembrance.

The response to K9 Dexter’s ballistic vest fundraiser has been incredible, and we cannot thank everyone enough for the support you have shown.

In such a short amount of time, residents, businesses, friends, and supporters of the Antrim Police Department have stepped forward to help offset the cost of this important piece of protective equipment.

Among those supporters is Black Moose Chimney and Stove, who generously contributed $500! toward the campaign. We are extremely grateful for their support, along with every individual and business that has donated, shared the fundraiser, or helped spread the word.

What has been most humbling is seeing this level of generosity from a small community, especially at a time when we know household and business expenses continue to be challenging for many people.

This is exactly what makes Antrim such a special place. Our community has consistently supported its police department, its officers, and K9 Dexter, and I never take that support for granted.

Dexter will have the protection he needs. Your generosity simply helps us provide it while minimizing the amount that needs to come from municipal funding.

Thank you to every single person who has contributed.

For such a small town, Antrim has an awfully big heart.

On Tuesday evening, September 1st at 18:13 Hrs. Antrim Fire operating at a single motor vehicle roll over crash at Concord/ Elm street. Patient had self extricated and suffered minor facial lacerations.

Sunday August 30th at 18:28 hrs, Antrim Ambulance was dispatched for a female who had fallen down a flight of stairs with a traumatic head injury. Due to the severity of the injury with loss of consciousness, Dhart helicopter was requested and Antrim Engine 1 secured the LZ at Shea Field with the helicopter arriving on scene in 16 minutes. Antrim Ambulance A2 stabilized the patient and transported to the LZ. Patient care was transferred to the Dhart flight crew at the LZ and the patient was flown to a trauma center.
On scene Antrim Ambulance, Antrim Fire, and Antrim PD. Also thank you to the dispatchers at SW Fire Mutual aid for your assistance in this incident.

As students are headed back to school, keeping them safe should always be top-of-mind!

If you are driving near a school bus, remember these simple rules:

🟡 Yellow flashing lights mean that the bus is preparing to stop to load or unload children. Slow down and prepare to stop your vehicle.

🔴 Red flashing lights and extended stop arms mean that the bus has stopped and children are getting on or off. Stop your car and wait until the red lights stop flashing, the extended stop-arm is withdrawn, and the bus begins moving.

🚸 Even when lights aren’t flashing, watch for children, particularly in the morning or mid-afternoon, around school arrival and dismissal times. Be alert as you back out of a driveway or drive through a neighborhood, school zone, or bus stop.

Antrim Fire handling a car fire today. Vehicle was fully involved upon arrival with building exposures. Eversource to check overhead utility wires due to heat exposure. Engine 2 , Tanker 1 and Antrim PD on scene
