I know many today will mention Dolly Parton’s generational music accomplishments, but I want to also highlight her Imagination Library. Through her work, she sent books to kids every single month because her own dad couldn’t read or write. Millions of kids got their eyes opened because Dolly used her resources to actually change lives. Truly a real one and an American hero. RIP.

What’s on our mind? How busy we have been this summer!! We’ve had so many programs and crafts done it’s been hard to keep up! Summer reading officially ends on August 15th, which is also the day of our ice cream party and prize winners! Don’t forget to join us! Oh, and don’t forget that next story time (Wednesday, August 12th @ 3:30) we will have two LIVE tortoises joining us, you DON’T want to miss it!
