The Antrim Police Department has been made aware of this below scam targeting members of our community.
Please review the guidance provided by the Manchester NH Police in the attached post.
DO NOT scan the QR code, DO NOT send money. THIS IS A SCAM.
Manchester Police are aware of a scam circulating in and around the city. Similar to a document sent out via text and email last month, this authentic-looking correspondence claims that the recipient has a traffic violation and owes money.
THIS IS NOT REAL!
If you did not get a traffic citation, it clearly doesn't apply to you, and the state would not send you a document via text or email, but rather a mailed, detailed invoice.

Always call the court or sending agency directly to verify, and always use a trusted number, not the one printed on the document.
