This message is for high school students interested in playing football during the 2026-2027 school year. We will be holding an informational meeting tonight at 5:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym.

South Conejos School District News Release

Help ensure all children in Colorado have access to summer meals

One in six children in Colorado don’t have access to foods needed to thrive. Kids that miss out on proper nutrition during the summer are more likely to experience learning loss and develop long-term health consequences. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is about serving kids across the community free breakfast and lunch all summer long when they do not have access to school lunch or breakfast.

The SFSP provides FREE, nutritious meals to children 18 years of age and under at approved sites in areas with high concentrations of low-income children. Summer
meals will be provided at:

South Conejos School District

Antonito, CO 81120

June 1st through July 23rd, 2026
Meals will not be provided on July 6th

Breakfast: 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Lunch: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

Public Notice: One or more members of the South Conejos Board of Education will be attending the SCSD Candle and Rose Ceremony on May 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., and the SCSD Class of 2026 Graduation on May 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of Board member attendance is to participate in and support these school events. No formal Board business will be conducted, and no official action will be taken.
