Meet Dixie — our four-legged, full-time pest control specialist at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds. 😂 She keeps the fairgrounds safe from suspicious squirrels, rogue rodents, and absolutely anything else that dares to cross her path. 😎

We may call her our pest control… but around here, she’s family. ❤️🐾

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 3 months since the 2026 Contra Costa County Fair and it all still feels so fresh on our minds!

Our expectations were exceeded, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible sponsors, the support of our community and YOU! Thank you to everyone who came through our gates, supported our vendors and exhibitors, volunteered and everyone working behind the scenes, who helped make the 2026 Fair one to remember! 🙌 Here’s a little look back at some of our favorite moments. 🎥✨

Even though it seems like we just wrapped up this year’s Fair 🎡, there’s no time to hit the brakes. 🎠📅 It’s already time to roll up our sleeves and start planning for next year’s fair fun!

We hope you’re all soaking up the rest of your summer. ☀️🌴 As for us… we’re already hard at work behind the scenes getting everything ready for another unforgettable Fair season.
