Project Jupiter Update
Cranes continue rising over Project Jupiter in Santa Teresa as Oracle considers trucking natural gas to the site while a proposed pipeline faces ongoing delays. According to recent reporting, the pipeline has been rejected twice and now isn’t expected to be in service until next year. In the meantime, the company may rely on truck‑delivered fuel, a method already used at another Oracle facility.
Community advocates have raised concerns about increased truck traffic, air quality impacts, and the scale of fuel needed to power the project’s energy system. The report also highlights recent developments in Doña Ana County leadership connected to the project’s negotiations.
