Mental health is an important part of overall wellness.

Through our THRiVE partnership with United Way of East Central Alabama and Interfaith Ministries, Mental Wellness Groups are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Martha's Hope to support individuals navigating stress, anxiety, and life challenges.

We are grateful to continue expanding access to care in our community.

Medical professionals, have you ever needed a reminder of why you entered the field in the first place?

At St. Michael’s Medical Clinic, every specialty and skill set can make a meaningful impact in our community. One of our ultrasound technicians volunteers on Wednesdays to perform ultrasounds for patients, which helps free up other providers to continue moving patients through their visits more efficiently.

It is a simple but powerful example of how using your skills can directly support compassionate, accessible care.

Our clinic serves uninsured individuals throughout Calhoun County through primary care, chronic disease support, mental health resources, diagnostics, and more.

One decision to seek care helped change the course of this patient’s life.

After overcoming addiction and becoming sober, he came to St. Michael’s Medical Clinic wanting to regain his health. Through testing, treatment, and continued care, he is now free of Hepatitis C and receiving support for other health concerns as well.

So grateful for our partnership with IFM!

This is what partnership looks like in Calhoun County.

Nanette Mudiam, director of St. Michael's Medical Clinic, came by Interfaith last week to pick up a load of orthopedic boots, braces, and recovery aids, all headed straight to St. Michael's clients who need them.

This is the way it's supposed to work. One neighbor donates. We coordinate. A sister agency distributes. A third neighbor heals a little easier. Every step in the chain is a hand-off, and every hand-off is a kindness.

Thank you, Nanette, and thank you to the whole team at St. Michael's Clinic. We are so glad to walk this work together for our Calhoun County neighbors.

Have orthopedic boots, walkers, braces, or other medical equipment you no longer need? Drop it by 1431 Gurnee Ave, Suite A, Monday through Thursday. We'll make sure it finds a home.
