The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama serves 9 counties throughout northeast Alabama including: Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, DeKalb, Etowah, Randolph, St. The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama (CFNEA) is a qualified 501(c)(3) public charity recognized by the Alabama attorney general and the Internal Revenue Service. Like 780 other community foundations, the CFNEA is a family of funds that serve as a permanent endowment for the benefit of residents in its geographic area within northeast Alabama.
