National Donut Day is almost here! 🍩❤️

What started with The Salvation Army’s Donut Lassies during World War I has become a day to celebrate kindness, community, and a little sweetness along the way.

On June 5, share a donut, brighten someone’s day, and spread a little joy wherever you go. And if you're a veteran or an active-duty servicemember, stop by The Salvation Army Annapolis Corps on Hilltop Lane to let us thank you for your service with a free donut, coffee, and other treats - just to say "thank you."

We invite members of the community to come shop the Clothing Closet. Service is first come, first served, and no appointment is needed.

We are honored to serve residents of select cities in Anne Arundel County.

Please remember that you have to wait 30 DAYS between each visit.

Did you know that The Salvation Army’s summer camps have been around almost as long as The Salvation Army itself?

The first official summer camp was the “Fresh Air Camp” in Kansas City, and the oldest existing camp was established in 1901 in Camp Lake, Wisconsin.

The rest has been history, serving children across the nation and providing them a summer full of fresh air, sunshine, friendship, ministry, and character-building activities. ☀️

Memorial Day is a day to remember and honor the brave men and women who have lost their lives fighting for our country. At The Salvation Army Annapolis, every day we offer a number of support services for local veterans struggling to get by, including emergency rent and mortgage assistance, and our food and hygiene pantries.

We forever recognize and commemorate the bravery of those who sacrifice their everyday lives and comforts for the greater good of America, and we strive to ensure that those who return home have the support and resources to build a thriving post-service future.

We honor you all.
