A citation was erroneously placed on a City of Annapolis emergency vehicle this past Sunday. The citation was issued in error and promptly voided. No other citations were issued to fire or police vehicles. SP+ does not have any financial incentive with respect to violations, nor does the company participate in any revenue collected through parking citations, or parking fees.

'Tis the season for free holiday parking! Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, Annapolis is offering two hours of free parking at metered spaces in downtown – and to celebrate the inaugural year of the new Noah Hillman Garage, the City is offering the first hour free there, too.

Power and sailboat enthusiasts are making plans for the Annapolis fall boat shows, which will take place in historic downtown Annapolis along City Dock on the Annapolis harbor. The United States Powerboat Show will take place October 5-8, 2023. The United States Sailboat Show takes place October 12-15, 2023.

Setup, with some limitations on downtown parking, will begin Wednesday, September 27. Breakdown will continue until close of business on October 19. The changeover between shows will take place Oct. 8 through 11. Please be alert to road closures and parking restrictions in and around City Dock throughout the entire period from Sept. 27 to Oct. 19.
