▪︎ Fidos for Freedom. Founded in 1987, Fidos is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing service dogs. We are pleased to partner with Fidos for Freedom. We fund a service dog for a Veteran in need.

Nic Kipke sent the below request, sharing in case anyone is in a position to help this Veteran in need.

I need your help and it is important. It is really hot and there is an elderly veteran in Pasadena living at his home without power. He is on a very fixed income and fell behind on his bills. He does not know that I am making this appeal on his behalf as he is very proud but I can't stand the idea of him without power for as long as he has been in this heat.

I've been working with BGE and the Fuel Fund and both have been very helpful but I need to ask you to please consider helping to pay down the 1/3 that he has to pay to get power restored.
To get power restored we need to raise about $2200.

Happy Easter family and friends!

The holidays are best celebrated by surrounding ourselves with people we feel the most connected to, whether that is family, friends, or our community. The holidays are about celebrating and expressing our love, gratitude, & appreciation for those important to us. One of the best ways to celebrate with those we care about is by gathering together and vocalizing appreciation for each other.

While holidays are about love, gratitude, and appreciation it is also a time for giving! Giving back to our communities is important during the holidays. It is also a good reminder to integrate it into our daily lives.
