On St. Patrick’s Day, the Traffic Unit led a Maryland Highway Safety Office funded impaired driving detail. This initiative, coupled with the hard work of our Patrol Deputies, resulted in seven impaired drivers being taken off of our county roads. Any one of these drivers could have injured or killed an innocent person. These Deputies took time away from their families on a holiday to keep our roadways safe. I am proud of the hard work of everyone involved.

Special thanks to Deb from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for joining us on a ride-along!
