BIG SPRING BOOK SALE-- SAVE the DATES
Our ever-popular semi-annual 4-day Spring Book Sale is fast approaching.
The 4-day sale begins on Thursday, April 23 and runs through Sunday, April 26. Hours are 10:00 am – 5:30 pm daily.
Also, we offer a Preview sale, $20 per adult, to be held on Wednesday evening, April 22, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
The sale offers a great selection of high-quality hardback and paperback books in a wide variety of subjects including popular and classic fiction, crafts, cookbooks, art, reference, comic books, graphic novels, history, travel, collectibles, rare books, and children’s books for all ages. Also on sale is a variety of CDs and DVDs. Fine art and pop-up children’s books will be on display in the library lobby. There is something for everyone!
Come early for the best selection, then come back on Sunday for half-price bargains.
Proceeds from the book sales support the Fairfax County Summer Reading Program, sponsor Library Foundation scholarships, sponsor the Fall for the Book Festival, and library programs at George Mason Regional Library.

ONGOING MINI-BOOK SALE
EVERY FRIDAY & SATURDAY
12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Every Friday and Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Friends of George Mason Library host a Mini-Book Sale in the library’s lobby.

The 7 book carts along the library’s lobby wall are chock full of books from a variety of categories that are periodically rotated. As books are sold, new offerings replace them.

There are many categories to choose from: Children's books, Crafts, Gardening, Travel, History, and Mystery and Suspense to name a few. Also, a selection of CDs.

We are also displaying a sampling of special selections. This past week the following items were featured:

Case Files of Sherlock Holmes - $3.50; National Geographic Series of beautifully bound books on our National Parks, the Animal Kingdom and the Rocky Mountains. Each volume is $3.00 or all 5 volumes for $10. Also on display was the 50th anniversary set of Orson Welles Citizen Kane with CDs for $7.00 and a beautifully annotated book: Classic Anthology of Anatomical Charts, $12.00. Items on the donation bin will be replaced as sold or as new and different selections in a variety of genres become available.

So don’t miss out on our offerings at the weekly Mini-Book Sale. Stop by and browse and stop by again as new titles are added.
