City of Anna annual lighting ceremony, never disappoints!

🎄✨ Rain or Shine, the Magic Continues! ✨

We’re disappointed that the weather forecast isn’t on our side, but we’re not letting a chance rain dampen our holiday spirit! While we’ve had to make some adjustments, we’re excited to offer a reimagined Tree Lighting experience that’s sure to create magical memories for all.

Here’s what’s new:
🌟 Reinvented Activities Moved Indoors:
• 🎤 Carolers spreading holiday cheer
• 🎄 Grinch appearances
• 🎈 Elf balloon artists

❌ Activities Canceled Due to Weather Concerns:
• Crafts, inflatables, and pony rides
• Photos with reindeer
• Food trucks

What’s Still Happening:
• 📸 Photos with Santa: 3-5:30 p.m.
• 🌟 Tree Lighting + Drone Show: 6 p.m.
• ❄️ Ice-Skating: Now available all day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.!

We’re committed to making this a magical evening, no matter the forecast. Join us at The Municipal Complex and celebrate the season with us—rain or shine! 🌧️🎅✨ All activities are FREE!

We're excited to host the ribbon cutting this weekend for the playground at Natural Springs Park!

Event Schedule:
• 8:00-11:00 AM – Community Build
• 11:00 AM – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Please come early (8-11am) to help finish off the playground. You're invited to bring a shovel and assist with shoveling the fiber mulch and planting trees!

As we start the football playoff season, reminder that our own Bryce Denton has already kicked-off Championship season by earning the 5A Boys Cross Country State Championship.

Congrats again to Bryce and our Anna Coyotes Cross Country program.

Getting all the love for Veteran’s Day! My son, along with the amazing kids and staff at Harlow Elementary, had a great celebration for Veterans and I came home to this sign in my yard from City of Anna Government! Unfortunately, we missed the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, which I’m sure was great too! I’m so thankful the Army gave me so much over those 20 years and it just keeps giving.
