We are so excited to celebrate our graduating A-J Wildcats tonight!

As one last hurrah, the seniors enjoyed a class trip yesterday and made more memories together before graduation. We are so proud of this incredible group and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the future.

Speaking of creative…our General Art students just wrapped up a puppet-making unit!

Students explored the history of puppetry, learned about famous puppeteers like Jim Henson, and discovered how performance art and storytelling connect through puppets. After learning different techniques and styles, students designed and created their very own puppets from scratch.

To finish the project, students worked in groups to write and perform original puppet shows for the class—showcasing not only their creativity, but also the artistic skills, collaboration, and confidence they developed throughout the semester.

Our Ag class recently hatched chickens as part of a hands-on learning experience, giving students the opportunity to see the incubation and hatching process firsthand. Meanwhile, our Art Teacher, Ms. Burkhardt, added a creative touch by making hats for the new babies!

It’s always exciting to see our teachers bring learning to life in different ways and work together to create memorable experiences for students. What a fun, creative way to wrap up the school year at A-J!
