Congratulations to Mr Elden Baker. I pray your term is filled with much success. I am honored that I got to serve Anna for the time I did. Rest assured, my love for our city and my passion to help our neighbors will never waver. I wholeheartedly feel that local elections should be about passion, love, serving, and PEOPLE not political parties. In that vein, I feel good knowing that I did my absolute best to represent that philosophy. In 1927, Grantland Rice wrote,
“For when the great scorer comes to write against your name, He marks not that you won or lost but how you played the game.” It is my sincere hope that y'all will remember how much I fought for YOU, our neighbors, with no other agenda but to serve. I am proud to be just a tiny part of the exciting things happening in and around our city.
Thank you Anna for your support these last few years. I promise you will see me continue fighting for our voices to be heard and for strategic planning to be followed. You will see me still at the important meetings, like I did before I was elected on council. If I can serve or help any one, in any way, I pray you feel free to come to me. Our city is full of amazing people and will continue to grow and change. Let's all UNITE together for a better tomorrow.
