YOUR SAFETY. OUR COMMITMENT.
Scio Township’s current single fire station and team are tasked with protecting a community twice the size it was originally equipped to serve. The Nov 5 ballot proposal seeks to authorize 2.7 mills to replace the current 1.35 mills for 12 years, beginning in 2025. At this public engagement session, Fire Chief Andy Houde and Assistant Fire Chief Brandon Sears, will present a strategic plan to extend and improve services to include enhanced response times, meeting industry standards, and reduced risk to both community members and firefighters alike. To learn more about the ballot proposal: visit the STFD at 1055 N. Zeeb Rd., 8am-4pm, M-F, call (734) 665-6001, email [email protected], or go to: www.sciotownship.org/fire.
