Steph White, our Director of Development, spoke at the Ann Arbor City Council meeting on Monday, October 19, as they voted on the bills of rights for people experiencing homelessness. She emphasized that homelessness can happen to anyone of any age, especially for reasons outside of their control. These rights won't directly end homelessness, but it's important that we create a culture that protects individuals, no matter their housing status. Thank you to the amazing volunteers that stepped up and helped out yesterday during our mandatory pantry count! Yesterday would not have been a success without their help.
