As the weather cools, our tables may start to see more warm, hearty meals, but we're not ready to give up our fresh, raw veggies just yet! This Beet, Carrot, and Ginger slaw is a light, seasonal dish that makes a nice addition to your autumn dinner table. Our friends at say it has "converted many beet-averse eaters into beet lovers" in their free Cooking with Plants Class! Check it out in the A2ZERO Community Cookbook at osi.a2gov.org/cookbook.

The 2026 Green Fair was a gathering of hundreds of Ann Arbor residents and organizations who are all passionate about helping us achieve our A2ZERO goal of a just and equitable transition to carbon neutrality, community-wide, through the year 2030 and beyond. We spoke with some of those who were there to hear about why they ARE A2ZERO – what they do in their daily lives, big and small, to advance sustainability! Check out this video and the 50+ I Am A2ZERO interviews we've published at a2zero.org/IAm.
