TYPE OF INCIDENT: Assault Investigation

DATE: Tuesday, June 09, 2026 TIME: 10:06 PM

LOCATION: 4000 Block of E. Ellsworth Road, Pittsfield Township.

POLICE COMPLAINT NUMBER: 26-12500

INFORMATION: Pittsfield Township Police officers were dispatched to a local restaurant for a report of an assault that just occurred. Investigating officers learned that the victim of the assault was an employee of the restaurant. The victim was assaulted by 2 customers after the customers complained about their food. One of the customers threw food at the victim, who then went to the kitchen. Both customers followed the victim, and one threw a plate at the victim. The victim was then pulled to the ground, and the customers proceeded to assault the victim until another employee was able to intervene. One of the customers picked up the victim’s phone and threw it into the ground twice; causing damage. The suspects fled the location with an unknown white male in a tan pickup prior to police arrival. The incident remains under investigation.

VICTIM INJURIES: The victim sustained injuries consisting of a cut and hematomas.

CUSTOMERS/SUSPECTS: The following is a description of the customers who assaulted the Employee:

• Black female, approximate age of early to mid-20’s with black hair, last seen wearing black pants, a black zip-up jacket, and a brown shirt.

• Black female, approximate age of early to mid-20’s with black and brown hair, last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket, a white shirt, and a black hat.

Last night, Lieutenant Dustin Brighton and Lieutenant Paul Damon had the honor of participating in the Sudden Cardiac Survivor Celebration Dinner hosted by the University of Michigan Health Frankel Cardiovascular Center.
The event recognized the survivors, families, first responders, medical teams, and physicians who all played a critical role in successful cardiac arrest outcomes. Together, these individuals represent the "Cardiac Chain of Survival" a series of vital links that give patients the best chance of survival and recovery.
We would like to recognize Lt. Brighton and Lt. Damon for their exceptional prehospital care and professionalism. Their actions and dedication were an important part of the chain that contributed to a positive outcome for a cardiac arrest survivor.
Please join us in congratulating Lt. Brighton and Lt. Damon on this well-deserved recognition and thanking them for their continued commitment to serving our community.

🐾FOUND DOGS🐾

These two dogs were found May 13th in the neighborhood of Lake Forest The Pines (Ellsworth Rd/Maple Rd). One is a brown Mastiff and the other is a small black/white bulldog mix. They were found together.

If you recognize these dogs or know the owner, please share on our behalf.

These dogs were taken to the Huron Valley Humane Society.
