We know her!!!

On Administrative Professionals Day today, we recognize the vital contributions of support staff across our district.
We’re especially happy to spotlight Logan Elementary’s Exceptional Office Professional, Christy Landefeld. From her background in teaching to her deep involvement in the Logan community, Landefeld brings so much to her role. Noting that an office professional must truly be a jack of all trades, Principal Will Wright says that “Christy has mastered it all. She balances the many demands of the job with remarkable kindness and patience.”

Academic Games States Tournament Final Update-
Results are in!! (Pictured Below)

So proud of our teams!! Special shout out to our team YUM PI who placed FIRST PLACE in both equations and OnWords in their division!!
Congratulations to the whole Logan-Thurston AG team for coming in 2nd place in our Region.

We are so very proud of our 25 team members who went to states as well as ALL 40 of our team members who have practiced and prepped over these past 6 months. WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR ACADEMIC GAMERS!

We could not have done any of it without our amazinging HS Coach Volunteers!! Super Big SHOUT OUT to our Huron, Pioneer, & Skyline high school coaches who put in countless hours helping to prepare our teams. We wish them luck as they begin their competition today!

Please help us to also congratulate our Clague, King, and A2Steam/Dicken teams who also placed in various events, some even the STATE CHAMPIONS!!
A2AG is sending FIVE 3rd-6th grade teams to NATIONALS!!

Logan's Student Council is hosting AAPS's Rotary Food Hunger Drive from March 9th-20th! Consider donating non-perishable items to the collection boxes by the main office or make a financial contribution that will be MATCHED BY A DONOR! Thank you in advance for your support.

Due to current and anticipated road conditions, particularly on the neighborhood and secondary streets, the Ann Arbor Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026. We are sharing this announcement tonight to give families time to make arrangements.

High School students who have afterschool games, practices, field trips or rehearsals on Monday evening will receive communication regarding the status of their event directly from their coach, director or school administrator. Elementary and middle school after-school activities are canceled for the day.

The status of Rec and Ed’s evening classes and activities will be posted on the Rec & Ed website by mid-day Monday and participants will receive an email.

The City of Ann Arbor has declared an on-street parking ban beginning tonight at 8 PM to allow for improved snow-clearing operations.
