The murder of is not an isolated incident. J Street U Mich recognizes and condemns the systemic white supremacy which pervades our country, a system which includes not only but also the prison industrial complex. We stand in solidarity with and join activists in calling for the abolition of the prison system and the prosecution of Floyd’s murderers: Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng.

Woohoo! Thanks to the College Democrats for making this statement supporting our campaign! It’s time for the official Democratic Party Platform to actually reflect the beliefs of its constituents by explicitly opposing the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, illegal settlement expansion into Palestine, and the very real threat of Israeli annexation of the West Bank.

At this weekend's J Street national conference, we saw that the Democratic Party's views on Israel/Palestine are changing. It's time to get those changes reflected in the party platform. That's why we are launching our campaign to get the DNC party platform to explicitly oppose the occupation, settlement expansion, and creeping annexation and to condition aid based on those policy decisions.

This is a big thing happening! The Democratic Party's official platform does not oppose the occupation or annexation, and is thus complicit in human rights violations in the West Bank and is slowing the process to the two-state solution in Israel and Palestine. Let's !!!!

The pro-Israel, pro-peace advocacy group J Street and its student movement J Street U announced today the launch of a new campaign urging the Democratic Party to include in its party platform formal opposition to Israel’s ongoing occupation of the West Bank.
