(PLEASE SHARE!) ELECTION DAY IS NIGH! If you haven't voted yet, here's a list of polling places for each dorm (and some off-campus apartments), plus a list of absentee ballot drop boxes. If you have not yet registered to vote, your polling place is the UMMA by default - otherwise, your polling place is determined by the location of your home, dorm, or apartment! If you aren't sure about your polling place for tomorrow, go to http://iwillvote.com!

There are so many things we want to tell you all about the importance of this election and countless people we want to thank as we approach its final day, but to keep things brief: VOTE!

For the past two years, Democrats and patriots across the country have shed blood, sweat, and tears in our fight to retake our state legislatures, to win congressional and gubernatorial races, and to hold Donald Trump accountable. The past two years of work have been building up to today, and we will meet the moment with the energy it needs.

Polls are open from 7:00am to 8:00pm EST. Once you get in line to vote, STAY IN LINE! If you're in line by 8pm, polling workers MUST let you vote (assuming you're registered and all that jazz).

We were honored to have been joined by so many of Michigan's wonderful political leaders at tonight's Election Eve rally, from Ann Arbor's legislators like Yousef Rabhi and Debbie Dingell, to the greatest and most iconic leader in this state (if not the entire nation): Lalla the cat.

If you haven't voted yet, tomorrow is your last chance! Let's win this for Biden and Harris, folks!

HAVE YOU VOTED YET?
It's T-18 days to the 2020 general election, and early in-person voting is in full swing across the state. We are encouraging UMich students and Ann Arbor townies alike to vote EARLY! The clerks running the election in Ann Arbor have taken strides to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote can register and pick up an absentee ballot, either to mail back later or to return on the spot. One site is at City Hall, and the other is at the UMMA, a prime spot for the students it caters to. You can register and vote on the same day at the hours listed in this guide. Each site also has convenient ballot drop boxes, in case you already have an absentee ballot and would like to turn it in.

DON'T WAIT FOR THE MAIL!
VOTE BIDEN/HARRIS, PETERS, McCORMACK, AND WELCH!

MICHIGAN BEATS OHIO STATE!
Last Sunday, Students for Biden at UMich and at OSU held the first of three "phonebank battles," in which volunteers from each school called potential voters in our respective states to encourage greater voter turnout. In this first 2hr match, OSU's volunteers rang up 76.8 voters per shift, but our glorious volunteer corps rang up 77.8 voters per shift, which means MICHIGAN WON! There are two more rounds, which means it's incumbent on us to maintain our lead with even more efficient voter contacting this Sunday and the next, or else we'll be humiliated by Ohio State. Again.

All kidding aside, we want to thank our partners at Ohio State for helping us put this event together - we're all just a bunch of students, but together we're putting in the work to contact thousands of voters to swing our respective states. Good-natured competition between friends, with a heavy sprinkling of self-aggrandizing and flexing, helps our two chapters fulfill our quest to save democracy.

OUT OF STATE STUDENTS: If you live in Ann Arbor in some capacity (dorms, Greek life, off-campus apartments, etc) and you are an adult US citizen, YOU CAN REGISTER AND VOTE HERE! Michigan is one of the most important swing states in this election, so we need to turn out as many eligible voters as possible! You can register in Michigan even if you've already registered elsewhere or participated in a previous election elsewhere.

The registration process is quick and easy, and you can register + vote EARLY and IN PERSON each weekday! Don't delay - vote now!
Questions? Contact the email listed below or DM us on one of our many social media accounts, or ask the staff at the sites below. Be sure to check our other voting guides for more fun information.

MICHIGAN VOTERS: We have a chance to flip the Supreme Court of Michigan this November! Currently, the court has 4 conservatives and 3 liberals, but there are two seats on the ballot in this election! Re-elect Chief Justice Bridget Mary McCormack and elect Welch for Justice and we can flip the court and help Governor Whitmer repair our economy, recover from COVID-19, and protect human rights and dignity across our state! This race is a NONPARTISAN one, which means the straight ticket voting box doesn't cover it - be sure to specifically vote for McCORMACK and WELCH when you get your ballot!

VOTE EARLY! VOTE IN PERSON IF YOU CAN! Ann Arbor makes it easy to vote as long as you are eligible!

EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING HAS BEGUN! As of yesterday (9/24), Ann Arborites and students at the University of Michigan can begin casting ballots at City Hall and at a special satellite office set up at the UM Museum of Art, at the hours listed on this image! No appointment is necessary - just show up and participate in our democracy. You'll have the option of taking your ballot home with you, or finishing it on the spot and handing it in then and there. Your MCard counts as a voter ID!

We encourage you to vote early and in person at these sites if possible, and to share graphics like this with your networks to get the word out! Trump won Michigan by 10,704 votes last time, but there are enough new voters in Ann Arbor alone to close that gap! In person voting is the best way to get your vote counted without having to worry about the mail.

If you aren't registered yet, no problem - any adult citizen with Michigan residency (and yes, OOS students, dorms count as residency) can register to vote here, and the information contained in your Wolverine Access account can serve as proof of your residency. You can register at the exact same sites, and vote the same day.

Hours will expand as Election Day nears. If you have questions or concerns, contact the email listed or DM us. We'll be happy to help!

Let's get Joe Biden in the White House, send Gary Peters back to the Senate, and vote for Welch and McCormack for the MI Supreme Court!
