This story breaks my heart, but doesn’t surprise me. As a public school teacher I know the special needs of all my students. I sign off on having read their IEPs and 504s. It is the right thing to do and a requirement for all public school educators. Unfortunately Iowa tax dollars are supporting schools that do not provide for student with disabilities and allows these schools to remove students they don’t want to provide for. I hope this family finds a solution in public school. https://iowastartingline.com/news/education/private-school-voucher-program-paredes/?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ISL+Friday+9-4-26&utm_term=Iowa+Starting+Line+-+Entire+List&fbclid=IwZnRzaAUJKAVwZG9mBWZkaWQWUN091rvu233dUAY_IS-i4lEH9_Pr6mV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkCjY2Mjg1NjgzNzkAAR48jMPZnn6PmYY9IJDUqbOCiKxWSTGmJ73UR_oyPTDbKJw-NnnxtohH4sN8qw_aem_B-k9ucPzP6JxL4LruQjCwA
