🚑☀️ Community events are some of our favorite days!

On Saturday, AAEMC joined our friends from the Angleton Fire Dept, Angleton Police Department, and the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office for a little show-and-tell with the community.

We had the opportunity to meet lots of kids (and quite a few curious adults!), show off some of the equipment we use every day, teach a little hands-only CPR, and give everyone a closer look at what happens before a patient ever reaches the hospital.

One of the best parts of our job is connecting with the people we serve, and it was great to see so many families come out to spend the day with us.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, climbed around the ambulance, and let us share what we do. We always enjoy opportunities like these and look forward to seeing you at the next community event!

Another EMS Week surprise for the crews today! 🚓💙🍪

A huge thank you to the officers and staff at Angleton Police Department for stopping by and dropping off goodies for our team. We truly appreciate the support and partnership we share serving this community together every day.

The snacks may disappear fast around the station… but the appreciation definitely won’t. Thank you again, APD, and Happy EMS Week! 🚑

One of the best perks of EMS Week… the FOOD! 🍲🔥

Today the crews were treated to some absolutely AMAZING gumbo and potato salad courtesy of Rocky Trahan with Focuss K9. They also arranged for a little 4-legged lovin’ to help brighten everyone’s day. 🐾❤️

We truly appreciate the support and kindness shown to our crews this week and throughout the year.

Thank you again, Rocky and Focuss Group, and Happy EMS Week from all of us at AAEMC! 🚑

🚑🧡 EMS Week 2026 is officially underway at AAEMC! 🧡🚑

The week started off exactly how EMS Week should… BUSY. So busy, in fact, that even the chiefs ended up hopping on the truck to help cover calls today. 🚑😂

A huge THANK YOU to UTMB Health for helping us kick off EMS Week with treats and support for our crews today. We truly appreciate our partnership and the continued support you show EMS throughout the year.

Our crews, supervisors, volunteers, and yes… occasionally administration… are proud to serve this community 24/7.

Here’s to a safe, busy, caffeine-fueled EMS Week 2026!

Today we are proud to recognize Alexia Solis on reaching her one-year milestone with the Angleton Area Emergency Medical Corps! 🚑

At AAEMC, members are awarded their shield after completing one year of service — a symbol of dedication, commitment, and becoming part of the AAEMC family.

Alexia started with AAEMC as a full-time employee and quickly became a valued part of our team. Shortly after joining us, she accepted a position with Montgomery County Hospital District, but thankfully has continued serving with AAEMC part-time and remains an important asset to our organization.

Over the past year, Alexia has continued to dedicate her time and skills to helping our crews and serving the community, and we are grateful that she has remained part of the AAEMC family.

Congratulations, Alexia, on earning your shield and completing your first year with AAEMC! We appreciate everything you have done and look forward to many more great things ahead.

Thank you for your dedication and service to our community! 🚑
