Join The Andrews Police Department on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Mel’s Market with Chief Michael Bordner and Major Ramiro Vargas. We are inviting all of the Citizens to come in and have Coffee and Doughnuts, while having conversations.

The Andrews Police Department was honored to participate in the Hands Across the Border Safety Checkpoint on Highway 17 at the South Carolina/North Carolina line last night. Hands Across the Border brings together law enforcement in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia to conduct joint public safety checkpoints aimed at keeping drunk and drugged drivers off the roads and is part of the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. Pictured are members of our agency, the Georgetown Police Department, and Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
