Boil Water Advisory Rescinded
The water consumers of the Town of Andrews Water System experienced a period of low pressure and outages in the distribution system on 5/29/2026 due to a water line break. This affected customers in the Town of Andrews Water System's service area, at this time the problem has been repaired, lines flushed and samples have been pulled and tested for bacteria, (Test results were good, with no signs of bacteriological growth) and Chlorine residuals are back to normal levels. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.
The system is back to normal, and it is no longer necessary to boil your water at this time, and it is safe for consumption.
