Our next two Community Events are both scheduled on Sept. 26 and we'd love it if you would join us! Space is limited so sign up now on our website's Events tab.

10:00 - 12:30 - Fall Butterflies and Botany with Mo and Mathilde at the Swampside Tract. Only 4 spaces left!

6:00 - 8:00 - Full Moon Hike at Swampside with Savannah and Angie. There are still numerous spaces left for this lovely slow walk around the native plant garden and a few trails while watching the moon rise.

Photos: Passion Vine which is also the host plant for the gulf fritillary butterfly. We saw so many butterflies laying eggs on the passion vines Saturday - what a treat.

Did you know......

That shortening daylight hours in the fall signal to plants that winter is coming? Deciduous plants stop producing green pigmented chlorophyll which reveals hidden yellow, red, and orange pigments!
