We know some of you are still out hunting for this week’s buddies—and some of you haven’t even begun yet—but we are already so excited about next week’s theme that we couldn’t wait to give you a little sneak peek!

Next week, we’re introducing the Grumpy Buddies.

We’re used to our little buddies being happy, cheerful, and full of smiles—but we all have feelings, and apparently these little buddies have some very big ones.

The worst part about being grumpy? Everyone telling you how darn cute you look while you’re doing it. And unfortunately for these buddies, they may be the cutest little grumps we’ve ever seen.

Each day, we’ll introduce you to at least one of next week’s buddies—and we want you to play along by telling us why you think they’re so grumpy.

Did someone eat their snacks? Wake them from a nap? Tell them they have enough toys already?

The funnier, crazier, and more dramatic the explanation, the better. We always have so much fun reading your answers—and we know everyone else does too!

🌲 Who’s ready to hunt? The Woodland Buddies are hidden! 🌲

A quick reminder: Only one buddy in your hands at a time. If you find a second, please immediately re-hide one of the two so another hunter has a chance to find it.

And please, please, please tag our page when you share your find! We truly love seeing your buddies and those smiling faces—and every tag helps our page grow so we can continue offering this free community event.

While hiding buddies today, we also noticed several painted rocks around Andover. We don’t know who is painting and hiding them, but we want you to know that your kindness has not gone unnoticed. Happiness has a way of rippling through a community, and we are so proud to see more people finding their own special ways to bring a little extra joy to our village.

If you find a painted rock, enjoy it! Keep it or re-hide it for someone else to discover—and to whoever is behind them, thank you for spreading happiness throughout our town.

This week’s Gold Buddy is ready to be found!

Meet Boris the Bristly Bear, wanted for bringing bubbly bear hugs to Andover! 🐻✨

This week’s reward is offered at Siberian Essence, courtesy of the absolutely fabulous owners, Alex and Julie. We cannot say enough good things about these two. They truly love this community, and it shows in everything they do.

Siberian Essence carries a wonderful mix of products, including many locally made items, because Alex and Julie believe in supporting local makers and keeping our community strong. This week’s theme is Woodland Buddies! 🌲

People always ask if Bigfoot is real… well, this little buddy definitely is! Keep an eye out for him and all of his woodland friends this Saturday.

And since we recently found out there are 81 bald eagles nesting in our area, we had to include a bald eagle buddy too. Around here, they really are part of the woods!
