DOHERTY, LOOK WHAT YOU DID! Another $2,000 raised since our last update, bringing us to $7,220, 29% of our $25,000 goal with almost 20% of the school participating. Every dollar raised helps the Doherty PAC support enrichment programs, student experiences, and opportunities that make middle school a little more memorable. We're still short of what we need to fund everything we'd hoped for this year, but there's still time to make a difference! If you're in a position to contribute, we'd be grateful for your support. HELP WANTED: Doherty families ready to make a difference! Our PAC Pledge Drive ends in just TWO DAYS, and we've raised $5,220 toward our $25,000 goal, with just over 11% of our school participating. We have a LONG way to go, but there's still time to make an impact. Your support helps fund exciting assemblies, WEB programs, field trip assistance, classroom extras, staff appreciation, 8th grade celebrations, and more. We know. ANOTHER school fundraiser. Trust us, we'd rather not ask either. But middle school still needs the extras, and those extras don't pay for themselves. Our Doherty PAC Pledge Drive ends THIS FRIDAY, October 23rd, and we're only at $3,400 of our $25,000 goal! We have a LOT of ground to cover, and we need your help.

Your donations make possible the things that make Doherty special: exciting assemblies, WEB student leadership, staff appreciation, field trip support, classroom extras, 8th grade celebrations, financial assistance for students in need, and MORE. THE DOHERTY PLEDGE DRIVE IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! We’re on the board with $1,150 raised toward our $25,000 goal, and now it’s time to make some waves! Every pledge helps the Doherty PAC fund the extras that make middle school a little more fun, a little more memorable, and a lot more Doherty. The halls are officially buzzing again at Doherty! We hope everyone has an amazing first day and a fantastic start to the 2026–2027 school year.

Of course, our incredible staff beat you here. They returned earlier this week, and the PAC was happy to help kick off their year with a welcome-back luncheon, because tackling a brand-new school year is always better on a full stomach. A HUGE thank you to the volunteers who made yesterday’s luncheon possible. We couldn’t do things like this without you!

Here’s to a great first day, a great year, and lots of reasons to make some waves.
