Due to ongoing water main construction activity, Andover residents may experience temporary discolored water, particularly in and around Downtown Andover.

Residents who experience discolored water should run cold water from a bathtub, basement sink, or outdoor spigot until the water runs clear. This can help flush nearby pipes and resolve discoloration.

Andover Department of Public Works crews will also be running hydrants overnight to help clear the water system and reduce discoloration.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while this work continues.

🚫💩 Your Dog Has Business to Do. So Do You!
Today, we present Daisy, our latest addition to the Dogs of Andover Photo Album! Her human has pledged to always scoop the p**p and dispose of it properly. Daisy is looking pretty in pink and ready for a walk-about!

A walk with your pup is a great way to get some fresh air, enjoy the outdoors, and maybe burn off a few treats. But every walk comes with one important job: scoop the p**p! 🐶👜

Pet waste left behind can be washed by rain into storm drains, where it flows untreated into our local streams and waterways. 💧😮

Be a responsible dog walker: bring the bags, scoop it, and dispose of it properly. Use a public trash receptacle or take it home—never leave a bag behind, toss it into a storm drain, or put it in someone else's trash bin.

And remember, cleaning up after your pet—and carrying a means to remove their waste—is required under Andover's Article XII, Section 11.
Your pup may handle the walking, but you handle the cleanup! 🐾🌎

✨🐾 Fresh Cut. Fresh Fluff. Fresh Accessories.
Today, we present Millie, our latest addition to the Dogs of Andover Photo Album! Her human has pledged to always scoop the p**p and dispose of it properly. Millie is looking paws-itively fabulous and ready for a walk! The perfect accessory? A leash, a smile...and a few p**p bags. 🛍️

Scoop it. Bag it. Bin it.

Picking up after your pet helps keep our parks, trails, and sidewalks clean, and protects our local waterways. When pet waste is left behind, rain can wash it into storm drains, where it flows untreated into streams, ponds, and rivers. 😮💧
Remember to dispose of pet waste in a public trash receptacle or bring it home. Never leave bagged waste behind, toss it into a storm drain, or place it in someone else's trash bin.

And don't forget—cleaning up after your pet, and always carrying a means to remove their waste, is required under Andover's Article XII, Section 11.
