Thursday mornings at the Robb Center are for The Dull Men!

The Dull Men's Club (DMC) was founded in the 1980s by a group of like-minded friends in New York City. Originally created as a lighthearted counter to the glitz and fast pace of the city, it has since grown into a massive international community that celebrates the ordinary.

1980s Origins: Started in an NYC bar when a group of friends realized they did not have traditional, flashy hobbies. They decided to jokingly form the "Dull Men's Club".

1997 Expansion: The club's official Dull Men's Club Website was launched, helping it reach a global audience.

2010s Social Media Boom: An official Facebook presence was established in 2010, and a dedicated Facebook group was created in 2015, which has since grown to more than 1.5 million members.

Evolution to Present: Although originally formed for men, the club now welcomes women. It is frequently featured in global media for embracing the Joy of Missing Out (JOMO) rather than constantly keeping up with trends. (Google)
