To all my honey lovers. Sad news today. This past fall we were 5 hives strong...today we are down to one, and I worry they may not make it till spring. It breaks my heart that after three years of hard work; I find myself back at square one as a beekeeper.

We are replacing queens today in three hives. Our new queens arrived this morning and Chris is feeding them some water.

I'm checking on the bees today! 3 out of 3 hives are looking great. Large clusters of bees to keep the royal Queen warm. I was checking protein patties and adding where needed. Trying my best to keep them happy and fed!
