The Village Indiana empowers youth and families in grades 6th-12th through community based group mentorship and support.

We believe transformation happens together as we raise confident, resilient leaders by rebuilding the village.

🧥💙 Yesterday, our Village mentees put kindness and leadership into action by serving at the TANL Blue Bridge Project coat giveaway!

We’re proud of our young people for giving their time to help others. Serving together reminds them that they have something valuable to offer their community.

Thank you, TANL, for welcoming The Village Indiana, and thank you to our families, mentors, and everyone who donated coats or served. Together, we helped spread warmth and care!

Laughter. Connection. A place to belong. 💛

Our Village girls group is building relationships, having fun, and growing together! Every conversation and shared experience is an opportunity to remind our girls that they are valued, supported, and never alone.

Thank you to our mentors for showing up and creating space for these connections to grow. This is The Village in action! 🙌🏾

🙌 Big thanks to the Madison County Community Foundation for supporting The Village Indiana! 💚

Their generous support helps us connect youth with caring adult mentors, equip parents, and create safe spaces where students can heal, grow, and discover who they are becoming.

Together, we’re strengthening families and building a village of support around our young people right here in Madison County.

Thank you for believing in our youth and investing in their futures. No child should grow up alone.

This week at The Village… so far! 🙌🏾🏀

From mentoring moments with our boys to making memories at the Indiana Fever playoff game, we’re building relationships that reach beyond our weekly groups. ❤️

Every conversation, every challenge, and every shared experience is a chance to build trust and remind our young people they have a Village behind them.

🏀❤️ Some of our Village Indiana team enjoyed last night’s Indiana Fever playoff game!

Time together like this helps us build the connections that strengthen our work. We’re grateful for the opportunity to laugh, cheer, and make memories with our Village family! 🙌🏾

We’re building a culture of belonging, one relationship and one shared experience at a time.

Let’s go, Fever! 🔥

🔥 THIS WEEK AT THE VILLAGE! 🔥

This is what The Village Indiana looks like in action.

Mentors showing up. Young people being poured into. Real conversations happening. Wisdom being shared. Relationships being built. And before we leave, we pray together. 🙏🏾

We believe transformation happens through consistent relationships. It happens when caring adults decide to show up, listen, challenge, encourage, and walk alongside the next generation.

This is bigger than a weekly mentoring group. We’re building a Village. 💛🖤

And we’re just getting started.

🔴 WE’RE LIVE IN THE LIVING ROOM! 🎙️

Tonight’s conversation is quick.

We are promoting the new episode of The Living Room featuring a very special guest, Rondale “Rev Ron” Broome.

Long before The Village Indiana, before the mentoring curriculum, and before I ever wrote Reviving the Village, there was a relationship. I was pouring into Rondale, but what I didn’t realize at the time was how much that relationship was shaping me too.

Now, years later, the mentee has become the mentor. 🙌🏾

Tonight, I will show a couple of clips from that episode and you can see it in its entirety at https://youtu.be/IW8g4wTlhKQ?is=kC9FTHX0WbrXKrel

What 20 Years Taught Us About the Power of One Relationship

This is more than an interview. It’s two people looking back at the same story from opposite sides of the relationship.

A young person does not need you to have all the answers. They need you to show up, listen, and stay consistent. ❤️

You can become the mentor who helps a young person feel seen, supported, and empowered.

🎙️ THE OFFICIAL HD REPLAY IS HERE!

Last night's LIVE conversation was too good to let a few technical issues get in the way. ❤️

Nikhea and I sat down in The Living Room for a real conversation about faith, marriage, family, leadership, purpose, and community.

No polished answers. Just two people sharing what we've learned from more than two decades of doing life together.

If you missed the LIVE, or the video quality made it difficult to watch, here's the full HD conversation.

🏠 Real conversations. Stronger families. Healthier communities.

Same mission. New conversations.
