The Roads and Bridges Departments employee of the month is Amy Merritt. Amy has been employed with Anderson County for almost 13 years; she is currently our office manager. Amy effortlessly juggles countless responsibilities behind the scenes - many of which may go unnoticed but are essential to our team's success. She takes an active role in addressing safety concerns by planning monthly training sessions and ensuring we have the necessary supplies to stay safe on the job each day. Amy is also incredibly organized when it comes to maintaining our personnel records and understands the importance of protecting privacy and confidentiality. Most importantly, she genuinely cares about each and every one of us. Whether she is helping resolve a technical issue, taking time to lend an ear, or offering a shoulder to lean on, Amy is someone we know we can always count on. Her consistent dedication, strong leadership, and commitment to excellence continue to move our entire team forward. Amy sets an exceptional example through her hard work, compassion, and willingness to help others, inspiring everyone around her to do their best. Thank you, Amy, for all you do for our team.
