We are saddened to share the passing of Tim, our longest-serving employee. He dedicated 43 years of his life to the library, starting at our original historic Carnegie building and moving with us to the current building.

Beyond his four decades of work, Tim was known for being a Halloween fanatic who rescued a collection of mannequins from the building's days as a Sears store, a thrill-seeking rollercoaster enthusiast having ridden over a thousand different coasters, and a movie lover who watched every single DVD in our collection. His personal website, nightcoaster.com, captures his full spirit, featuring his pictures and reviews of movies, rollercoasters, shaped vinyl records, lighthouses, and more.

He was a legend here and we will miss him.
