Today, I had the honor of delivering a rocking chair to Ms. Lisa Vandyken that arrived a little too late to present at her retirement celebration. While the chair may have been delayed, our appreciation for Lisa certainly is not.
For the past 18 years, Lisa has poured her heart into Anderson Schools and has made a tremendous impact on countless students, staff, and families. She is deeply loved, highly respected, and will truly be missed at Anderson Middle School.
Thank you, Ms. Vandyken, for your dedication, compassion, and the difference you have made in the lives of so many students over the years. We are grateful for everything you have done for our school community.
We will miss you dearly, and we hope you enjoy every minute of your well-earned retirement!
