Without strong numbers, our influence to fight for veterans’ rights on Capitol Hill is jeopardized. Our youth programs will mentor fewer children who need our guidance. Our charitable donations will help fewer veterans, servicemembers and their families who need us.

Hello everyone and happy new year! 2018 is shaping up to be a great year for the American Legion and Grimes County. We have created a new page to spread the good word on current events and news happening at our post in Anderson. We hope to reach out to our Veterans in the county and encourage each one to join. Our doors are open to anyone who has served or currently serving in any branch of the armed forces.

We are working hard on events this year to benefit our veterans and the community. We hope you’ll like our page and help get the word out to all Veterans in the community!
