The Adult and Workforce Development Division at LBWCC provides GED prep classes and Continuing Education courses to assist adults in meeting their educational goals.

Are you one of the unaccounted for students?

We’d love to help you get your High school diploma if you are 18, have at lest ten credits, and left an AL public school! We also have the GED option as well for those who aren’t able to do HSDO.

Alabama's state superintendent says there are a couple thousand students who are 'unaccounted for' in the 2025-2026 school year.
