Earlier this week, Anchorage Airport Police and Fire had a great time visiting Dimond High School! Students got to meet some of our recruits and officers. They also had the chance to check out our equipment, spray some water, explore our police vehicles, and tackle a small obstacle course.

The cold, wet rain didn't prevent any smiles and participation. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community and share a bit of what we do at the airport.

A big thank‑you to Dimond High School for inviting us out and giving us the opportunity to spend the day with your students! Anchorage School District

Today, officers with ANC Police & Fire proudly wore denim to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault. Denim Day is a powerful reminder that there is never an excuse and never a justification for sexual violence.
By wearing jeans, we join communities across the nation in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and promoting education that helps prevent sexual assault.

ANC Airport Police & Fire were honored to take part in the The Last Frontier Honor Flight, Inc. as they depart for their journey to Washington, D.C.

It's always a privilege to stand alongside these incredible veterans who served our nation with courage and dedication.

We also had the chance to meet a few of the highly trained Paws for Purple Hearts Alaska dogs. Amazingly well trained.

Thank you to our veterans, volunteers, and partners who make the Honor Flight possible. Alaska Airlines

ANC Airport Police Department hosted a CTS 3‑Day Less-Lethal Instructor Course and Penn Arms Armorer Course last week. Agencies from across Alaska joined us for hands‑on training with Impact Munitions, Chemical Munitions, and Flash Bang devices. This course allows graduates to train end users within their agency on the safe deployment and use of these less‑lethal tools.

Big thanks to CTS, Penn Arms, and all participating agencies for a safe and successful training week.
